RAY is a UAE-founded power bank sharing company headquartered in Dubai and expanding globally. As the region’s first Tap-to-Pay charging network, we enable guests to rent a portable charger instantly via Apple Pay, Google Pay, contactless cards, or our mobile app — even when their phone battery is completely drained.

Igor Kosolap

Founder and CEO of RAY

Igor founded the company in Dubai in April 2025, launching the first RAY power bank sharing network in the UAE in November 2025. Since then, the company has been growing rapidly, building one of the region’s fastest-growing charging networks.

In 2026, Igor established Ray Global in ADGM as the group’s holding company focused on international expansion and building a global power bank sharing platform.

Before RAY, Igor spent more than 10 years building digital products and partnerships at MTS, one of the largest telecommunications companies in Europe, where he led products and strategic partnerships. He also served on the Board of Directors of Urent, one of the leading micromobility and scooter-sharing companies in the region.
Roman Averyanov

Co-Founder & CPO of RAY

Entrepreneur and product leader with deep expertise in the powerbank-sharing industry. Founder and CEO of GetEnergy, one of Russia's early powerbank-sharing companies, which later became part of Gorodskie Zaryadki, whose assets were subsequently integrated into the MTS Urent ecosystem and later acquired by Yandex.

Currently Co-Founder and CPO of Ray, a UAE-based powerbank-sharing startup building the GCC's first app-free Tap-to-Pay charging network. Responsible for product strategy, hardware development, supplier relationships, and international expansion. Led the launch of Ray's operations in the UAE and the development of infrastructure designed for rapid scaling across the GCC and global markets.
